Dr. Vadlamudi completed his residency in Internal Medicine at East Tennessee State University located in Johnson City, Tennessee. He also got his Masters in Public Health from East Tennessee State University. He moved to Winston-Salem and worked at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center as Research Chair of Hospital Medicine and Assistant Professor of Medicine. During this time, he was honored with “Fellow of American College of Physicians (FACP)”. He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate, Syracuse, New York. During his fellowship, he received “The Best Fellow” award. He finished his Advanced Endoscopy (ERCP/EUS) Fellowship at Carilion Clinic, Roanoke, Virginia.
He is board certified in gastroenterology. He is a fellow in the American College of Physicians.
He Joined the Raleigh Medical Group Gastroenterology, Wake Endoscopy and Wilson Digestive Diseases Center in 2019.
He is interested in bile duct and pancreatic diseases as well as general gastrointestinal disorders. He is skilled in performing endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Spyglass cholangioscopy, and endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) with fine needle aspiration.
