Kelsey Rea, PA-C was born and raised in North Carolina, and has been practicing with RMG Gastroenterology since 2019. Some of her clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease, liver/pancreatic disease, irritable bowel syndrome, Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, and eosinophilic esophagitis. She is very passionate about providing the best patient care and education to all her patients.
She graduated with honors receiving her Master of Physician Assistant Practice Certification from Campbell University and was inducted into the Pi Alpha National Honor Society. She was also recognized at Campbell University P.A. program with “Outstanding Clinical Performance Award” and the “Directors Award”.
She also received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Campbell University, graduating Suma Cum Laude and earning several accolades for her academic and athletic achievement, including: CoSIDA Academic All-America® Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country Division I – Second Team 2016-2017, Big South Scholar Athlete of the Year 2017, Big South Conference All-Academic Athlete in Track & Field and Cross Country (Five Time Recipient) and Big South Christenberry Award 2017.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. Some of her personal interests include running, hiking, traveling, and reading.
