Persia Hadad grew up in Mooresville, North Carolina where she spent most of her adolescence volunteering in a hospice home and community health clinic. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill while volunteering at UNC Health as a doula. She later received her Master’s in physician assistant studies at Campbell University, and joined Raleigh Medical Group GI in 2021.
Persia is dedicated to excellence in patient care, combining her medical knowledge with a compassionate and holistic approach. Her practice is evidence-based, and she is passionate about prioritizing mental health, diet and exercise when optimizing patient care. Some of her clinical interests include hepatology, irritable bowel syndrome, and biliary disorders.
Persia lives in Raleigh with her husband and their goldendoodle Scout. She loves traveling with her family, trying out new recipes in the kitchen with her husband, going on sunset hikes with her dog, rock climbing, and stand-up paddleboarding.
