Pilar Berg completed the Physician Assistant program at Duke University School of Medicine ,Durham, NC in 2006 and graduated with a Master of Science. During that time she earned The Duke Alumni Academic Scholarship and additional scholarship from the organization of Physician Assistants in Emergency Medicine.
She was published in JAAPA (Journal of the American Association of Physician Assistants) in 2006, with an awarded article “Oral Health in Children: Overlooked and under-treated” JAAPA 2006;19(4):40-52.
She has extensive experience in Emergency medicine and ENT. She is also fluent in Spanish.
Joined our practice in May 2014 and works in the Cary and Raleigh areas. She is proficient and experienced treating IBD, IBS, pancreatitis, liver disease ,GERD, E0E and other GI conditions.
She is passionate about health maintenance and disease prevention and values the privilege to care for patients by providing individualized treatment plans.
