Reece Nuessmeier, PA-C is a Holly Springs, NC native. She has a passion for serving the members of her community and caring for their GI needs. She has a special interest in a variety of GI conditions including ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, GERD, irritable bowel, liver and pancreatic disorders, and eosinophilic esophagitis.
She attended North Carolina State University, where she obtained her bachelors of science and graduated magna cum laude. Before PA school, she served her community as an EMT in Wake County. She then attended East Carolina University, and graduated with her Masters of Physician Assistance Studies degree. She is a board certified Physician Assistant and joined Raleigh Medical Group GI in 2025.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and german shorthaired pointer, Brody. Her interests include reading, strength training, wake boarding, and traveling. She has traveled to 10 different countries and enjoys learning about different cultures. She is also an active member of her local church and enjoys serving in children’s ministry.
